What does your body language do for your career?
How do people perceive you? Do people respect you?
Do your coworkers treat you like a clutch player or a bench warmer?
Are you the obvious first round draft choice, or the last one chosen?
The fastest way to be dismissed as irrelevant is to give the wrong impressions with body language and tone of voice. Like a dog with it’s tail between it’s legs, body language and speech patterns are louder than words. The last thing your career needs is to appear a coward.
This presentation revealed the secrets hidden in our DNA that can transform our lives. It looks at the evolutionary factors that form our impressions of people.
Considering body language was important because it helps us:
Avoid being brushed-off at work
Be taken seriously
Be trusted with opportunity
Increase our social status
Thank you Dr. Francis for your presentation.
